Leivin graduated from Queen’s University with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 2014. Prior to this, he received a Bachelor of Science with honours degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. Leivin is an elite athlete and has represented Team Canada in many international competitions such as the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games, North American Cup, Pan American Karate Championship, and the World Karate Championship. In 2006, he captured the gold medal and became the Jr. Pan American Champion in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles among many of his achievements.
 
Leivin is currently a medical committee member of Karate Canada. He is also an NCCP Competition Development certified coach in karate. Furthermore, Leivin has completed various courses at the post-graduate level including his designation in the Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) by successfully completing his diploma in Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) physiotherapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopaedic Division. He is certified in Integrated dry needling (CIDN), Contemporary medical acupuncture and Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization utilizing the FAKTR approach. Leivin integrates his experiences as an athlete and coach with his professional knowledge to provide the most evidence-informed rehabilitation tailored to every individual’s goals.
