Harshavardhan (Harsha) Guruprasad

H.BSc. Kin, MScPT
Registered Physiotherapist

Harsha completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at York University, where his strong interest in human movement and rehabilitation first developed. During his undergraduate studies, he also competed in collegiate golf, further deepening his appreciation for performance, injury prevention, and recovery in sport.

He went on to earn his Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Cumbria in the United Kingdom. During his training, Harsha gained diverse clinical experience within the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), working across a range of settings including musculoskeletal outpatient care, acute stroke and neurological rehabilitation, intensive care, and elderly care. This experience allowed him to develop a well-rounded clinical skillset.

Harsha has integrated his international training with his prior experience in private practice musculoskeletal clinics in Ontario. His approach to physiotherapy is patient-centered and goal-oriented, combining hands-on manual therapy, individualized functional exercise programs, and the use of electrophysical modalities when appropriate to support recovery and optimize outcomes.

Harsha has a particular interest in sports rehabilitation and is currently expanding his knowledge in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys staying active through golf, racquet sports and cycling.
